I was at the shelter for a while before Next Chance Rescue came to help me. Now, I am at the best training facility, Empire State K-9, with Rick Sanders. He’ll show you the ropes. We’ve been working on my handling and basic commands, but this is going to be an ongoing effort.

I’ll be straight with you, I am not for a novice dog owner. I need a strong pack leader who will love me unconditionally, but also give me boundaries. I am headstrong, but I was born this way…a lot of Plott Hounds are!

Are you active? Because I am…not like one of those very energetic puppies, but I still need a bit of exercise. I like running and playing and goofing off in the backyard followed by a much needed nap. I’ve been told I get a little grumpy when I wake up, but who isn’t groggy after a deep slumber? Just need a little space and I’ll be ready to romp around in no time.
