AVAILABLE ANIMALS
We’re excited you have taken the first step in finding the right companion!
Our adoptable cats range from very young to senior and change daily as new animal rescues come in and others have found a forever home. Prior to adoption, we ensure that every Tiny Tigers NJ animal is spayed or neutered, in their best health possible and ready for their new home. Meet our available furry friends.

Einstein & Edison’s Story
Hi, we’re Einstein and Edison, a bonded pair of playful kittens—Einstein’s the curious tabby and I’m Edison, the mellow gray one. We love chasing toys, cuddling up together, and soaking up all the attention we can get. We’re looking for a forever home where we can stay side by side and share our double dose of love and purrs!
Amelia & Newton’s Story
We’re Amelia and Newton, tiger-striped tabby siblings looking for a home together. Newton is the bold, curious one who follows people around and purrs as soon as he’s petted. I’m Amelia, more reserved at first, but once I feel safe, I purr with pets, love treats, and get very playful.
Sunny & Eclipse’s Story
I’m Sunny, an orange kitten who can be shy at first but quickly becomes playful and loving once I feel safe. My sister, Eclipse, warms up faster and is a total lap cat who loves snuggles. We’re bonded siblings and need to be adopted together, bringing twice the love and joy to our forever home.
Mufasa’s Story
Hi, I’m Mufasa! I might be hesitant at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal bestie. I can be adopted on my own, though I’d also do well in time with a younger, easygoing feline friend.
Zorro & Zulu’s Story
Hi, my name is Zorro, and I’m looking for a forever home with my brother Zulu—we came from a tough hoarding situation and we’re a bonded pair who love each other dearly. Zulu is a big mush ball of love, and once I get comfortable, I’m just as affectionate. We can’t wait to share our cuddles and purrs with a family who will love us both.
Jack’s Story
Hi, I’m Jack, a sweet and playful tabby kitten who loves to chase toys and snuggle. I need to be adopted with another kitten or go to a home that already has cats, because having a buddy makes me happiest. I’ll fill your days with purrs, silly antics, and lots of love.
Starla & Lunar’s Story
We’re Starla and Lunar, a bonded pair of kittens who were born to a stray mama and have been together since day one. I (Starla) am the outgoing explorer, while my brother Lunar may be shy at first but quickly shows his gentle, loving side. Adopt us together, and we’ll bring you double the love, purrs, and joy.
Vula’s Story
Hi, I’m Vula (formerly Vulture) — I’m just a sweet, playful kitten. I was born on the streets of Jersey City Heights with my two brothers and love climbing, cuddling, and zooming around. I’ll need a home with another cat to keep me company and share in the fun!
Julian & Mulan’s Story
We're Julian & Mulan, siblings that were abandoned when our owners moved. We’re looking for our forever home together, and we hope it's really forever this time!
Mingus’s Story
After being abandoned on the streets, I now long for a warm home and a loving family to call my own. Will you be the one to give me a second chance and adopt me into your heart?
Kittens are coming!
Let’s get ready to SNUGGLE!!! That’s right…we have more kittens coming! Kitten season isn’t over yet and we have the snuggliest kittens around looking for fosters and furever homes.
HOW TO PREPARE
Bringing a new family member home is exciting, but also a little bit scary...for everyone. Don’t worry, we’re here to help. Here are a few tips to get you started:
Remember that every animal is different. It may take a few days or even a few weeks (or more), for your new pet to adjust to his/her new surroundings, routine and rules. And that’s okay!
Create a space in your home that is just for them. This can be a crate, a room, or a section in a room. It’s important for them to be able to retreat to a safe and calm area that’s all his/her own.
Before bringing home your four-legged friend, write out your ideal routine - where will he/she sleep, eat, exercise? What are the house rules? What happens when you are not home? This will make the transition easier from the get go.
At first, things may feel a bit tough. But once you get your routine down and learn about each other, there’s nothing better than the bond you will have built.
