AVAILABLE ANIMALS
We’re excited you have taken the first step in finding the right companion!
Our adoptable cats range from very young to senior and change daily as new animal rescues come in and others have found a forever home. Prior to adoption, we ensure that every Tiny Tigers NJ animal is spayed or neutered, in their best health possible and ready for their new home. Meet our available furry friends.
Make sure to read the process of how to adopt and our policies and values. For additional questions, check out our FAQs.
Raif & Ryah’s Story
We’re Raif and Ryah, bonded siblings that were born in the rescue’s care. We’re playful, loving kittens who get along with other cats and small dogs and are ready to bring double the purrs to our new home!
Jewels’s Story
Hello world, I’m Jewels! I was found all alone on a sidewalk at just 1 lb, but I’m a tough, playful, love-filled girl with tons of energy and personality (plus a pretty cool tattoo-sleeve leg). I need a kitty buddy to play with and would do great in a home with kids and even small dogs.
Claudia’s Story
Hey adopters—I’m Claudette! I’m a friendly, people-loving girl who was rescued right before a big snowstorm and am now warm, safe, and ready for my forever home. I’d thrive as the only pet in an adult household where I can soak up attention, rub all over you, and make my famous biscuits. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion who just wants to enjoy her humans, I’m your gal.
Chestnut’s Story
I’m Chestnut, a senior floof having to find a new home.
I’m sweet, calm, and affectionate, but I still enjoy batting around a good catnip toy.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion, I might be the perfect match.
Amelia & Newton’s Story
We’re Amelia and Newton, tiger-striped tabby siblings looking for a home together. Newton is the bold, curious one who follows people around and purrs as soon as he’s petted. I’m Amelia, more reserved at first, but once I feel safe, I purr with pets, love treats, and get very playful.
Mufasa’s Story
Hi, I’m Mufasa! I might be hesitant at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal bestie. I can be adopted on my own, though I’d also do well in time with a younger, easygoing feline friend.
HOW TO PREPARE
Bringing a new family member home is exciting, but also a little bit scary...for everyone. Don’t worry, we’re here to help. Here are a few tips to get you started:
Remember that every animal is different. It may take a few days or even a few weeks (or more), for your new pet to adjust to his/her new surroundings, routine and rules. And that’s okay!
Create a space in your home that is just for them. This can be a crate, a room, or a section in a room. It’s important for them to be able to retreat to a safe and calm area that’s all his/her own.
Before bringing home your four-legged friend, write out your ideal routine - where will he/she sleep, eat, exercise? What are the house rules? What happens when you are not home? This will make the transition easier from the get go.
At first, things may feel a bit tough. But once you get your routine down and learn about each other, there’s nothing better than the bond you will have built.
